    AI For Juniors

    Level: Advanced

    S. No.

    Learning Objective

Fundamentals of AI: Advanced Concepts in AI

This experiential AI primer session provides students with ideas and concepts on advanced AI technology.

Intelligent Machines & Natural Language Processing

Students will create an AI program with text classification and sentiment analysis tools to identify either the positive or negative connotations of the text provided as data input.

    AI Avatar

Students will create an interactive AI Avatar (Sprite) program that will utilize speech recognition and generation tools to display natural interaction.

Machine Learning in AI: Pattern Recognition

Students will create and train an AI program that will analyze and carry out color, text or pattern recognition based on the data provided.

    Perception in AI: Face Count

Students will create an AI program with facial recognition tools to carry out a "Find the face count" task.

    Impact of AI on Society:
    [Part 3]

Students will explore various user scenarios to understand how AI can be deployed in daily lives and how it can benefit and shape the future of our planet.

    AI Language Translator

Students will create an AI program using speech generation and recognition tools to carry out translation between different languages and explore natural interaction between Intelligent machines and Humans.

    AI Image Classifier

Students will create an AI program that uses image classifier tools to demonstrate how perception helps to build intelligent machines with human-like reactions.

Training the Conversational Agent: Part 2

Students will create an AI “conversational agent” program that can be trained to recognize and predict the intent of the query provided by the user.

Machine Learning in AI: Emotion Recognition

Students will create and train an AI program using Machine Learning models to recognize and label facial expressions into appropriate emotions (happiness, sadness, anger).

Machine Learning in AI: Human Face classification

Students will create and train an AI program using computer vision tools and Machine Learning models to perceive and identify image data from different human face samples.

Bias in AI: Algorithms & Data
    [Part 2]

This experiential session uses Case Study methodology to help students understand how bias impacts society, and provides innovative and transformational knowledge about fake news, data privacy etc.

    Capstone Projects

Students will design and work on 2 projects using the PBL {Project Based Learning Framework} that applies AI to solve a problem. Instructors will guide the students using the Design Thinking philosophy.
